١ = 1

٢ = 2

٣ = 3

٤ = 4

٥ = 5

٦ = 6

٧ = 7

٨ = 8

٩ = 9

So writing numbers in Arabic is from left to right:

 

Examples of more than 1-digit numbers:

 

١٢٣ = 123

٦٥٣ = 653

٣٢ = 32

٦٧ = 67

 

So basically add the number symbols for every possible number in the number system.

 

0 = Sifr

1 = Wahid

2 = Ithnain

3 = Thalatha

4 = Arba'a

5 = Khamsa

6 = Sita

7 = Saba'a

8 = Thumania

9 = Tisa'a

10 = Ashara

 

11 = Ihda Ashara

12 = Ithna Ashara

13 = Thalatha Ashara

14 = Arba'a Ashara

15 = Khamsa Ashara

16 = Sita Ashara

17 = Saba'a Ashara

18 = Thumania Ashara

19 = Tisa'a Ashara

20 = Ishreen

10 = Ashara

20 = Ishreen

30 = Thalatheen

40 = Arbaeen

50 = Khamseen

60 = Siteen

70 = Sabeen

80 = Thumaneen

90 = Tiseen

100 = Mia

For 2- Digit numbers we start on the digit on the right, then if it's 20 or 30 etc.

For example:

34 is Arba'a Thalatheen

53 is Thalatha Khamseen

67 is Saba'a Siteen
